Every Day is a Free Day!
Looking for something free to do today? These venues are free every day!
Several organizations across the metro area offer free days and programs made possible with funds from the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District (SCFD). Since its creation in the late 1980’s, residents in a seven-county area – Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Denver, Douglas and Jefferson counties – have access to multiple cultural institutions for free throughout the year. As the country’s second-largest cultural funding mechanism, SCFD funds nearly 300 organizations and distributes over $80 million annually. One penny of every $10 in sales and use taxes collected goes to SCFD.
Please check the venue’s website for details and hours of operation.
